ALPHABET STAND Service is committed to the protection of personal data and privacy in accordance with Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended and regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (RGPD).

As such, you are informed that some of your personal data may be collected and processed.

Contact: when filling in the contact form, will collect your name, first name, and your e-mail address as well as your message.

Cookies: Cookies are used, in the context of the use of the website, to collect certain information (in particular, your IP address, information about the computer used for navigation, the mode of connection, the type and version of the Internet Browser, the operating system and other technical identifiers or the URL address of the connections, including the date and time, as well as the content accessed). You can disable Cookies from your browser settings.

The use of your personal data are mainly the following :

- optimization of the layout and operation of the site by collecting statistical data on site traffic

- fight against fraud, misuse, viruses and other malicious software

- relationship management with you, by contacting you by mail or phone.

When certain information is required to access specific features of the Site, this mandatory character is indicated at the time of data entry.

If you refuse to provide mandatory information, you may not have access to certain services, features or sections of the Site.

Your personal information is kept for a period of not more than 3 years, unless :

You are exercising, under the conditions set out below, one of the rights granted to you by the legislation 
A longer retention period is authorized or imposed under a legal or regulatory provision.
 

During this period, the Site puts in place the organizational, software, legal, technical and physical means to ensure the confidentiality and security of your personal data, in order to prevent their damage, erasure or access by unauthorized third parties.

Access to your personal data is strictly limited to the employees and servants of the company ALPHABET STAND SERVICE, authorized by reason of their duties and bound to a duty of confidentiality. However, the data collected may be communicated to subcontractors who are contractually responsible for carrying out the tasks necessary for the proper functioning of the Site and its services as well as for the proper management of the relationship with you, without your need to give your permission. It is specified that, in the course of the execution of their services, the subcontractors have only limited access to your data and have a contractual obligation to use them in accordance with the provisions of the applicable legislation on the protection of personal data.

In addition to the above cases, ALPHABET STAND SERVICE undertakes not to sell, rent, transfer or give access to third parties to your data without your prior consent, unless forced to do so for legitimate reasons (legal obligation, fight against fraud or abuse, exercise of rights of defence, etc.).

In accordance with the applicable legal and regulatory provisions, in particular the amended law n ° 78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to data processing, files and freedoms and the European regulation n ° 2016/679 / EU of April 27, 2016 (applicable from May 25, 2018), you can at any time exercise the following rights :

Exercise your right of access, to know your personal data ;
Ask for your data to be updated if it is incorrect ;
Request portability or deletion of your data ;
Request the limitation of the processing of your data ;
Oppose, for legitimate reasons, the processing of your data ;
Oppose or withdraw your consent to the use by our services of your details for solicitation via e-mails, SMS messages, telephone calls and Mail. This right remains valid whether the information concerning you has been transmitted directly by you or by third parties to whom you have communicated it.

For security reasons and in order to avoid fraudulent applications, the application must be accompanied by proof of identity. The supporting documentation will be destroyed once the request is processed.

ARTICLE 1.

All contracts of hire shall be deemed to incorporate these terms and conditions. No variation or addition to these conditions is effective unless it is agreed, in writing, by a Director of the Alphabet Stand Service

ARTICLE 2.

The hire prices quoted are for the duration of the exhibition or event for which they are hired up to a maximum of 2 weeks, and exclude VAT, which will be added at the rate ruling at the date of invoice. 

  • The Alphabet Stand Service reserves the right to apply a sur-charge of 20% of the hire cost for any orders placed within two week of delivery to an event or exhibition.
  • Any and all quotes from Alphabet Stand Service to the customer should be signed off and returned by the customer. All orders from the customer are deemed accepted once Alphabet Stand Service have signed off.
  • Alphabet Stand Service will request a down payment of 60% upon acceptance of the quote.
  • Upon customer cancellation of the order :
    • Within twenty one (21) working days from the delivery day (night before the exhibition show kick off), the customer will pay Alphabet Stand Service an amount equivalent to sixty (60) % of the total order plus fifty (50) % of the furniture rental cost and any other cost that were already paid for the exhibition show (i.e. coffee, water fountain …)
    • From twenty-one (21) to five (5) working days from the delivery day, the customer will pay an amount equivalent to seventy (70) % of the total order plus fifty (50) % of furniture rental cost and any other cost that are due for the exhibition show.
    • Within five (5) working days from the kickoff, the entire amount is payable by the customer to Alphabet Stand Service.

 

ARTICLE 3.

The liabilities of the hirer commence at the time the hired products are delivered to the site of the event or exhibition for which they are hired, or are collected from our premises, and continue until they are collected from the site by the Alphabet Stand Service or returned to our premises. During this time, the hirer will:

  • Keep, at the hirer’s own expense, the said hired articles in good and substantial repair and condition, and in the event of any article being damaged beyond repair or lost by fire, theft or any other cause whatsoever, will pay the Alphabet Stand Service the full replacement value of the hired articles plus the original hire charge. In the event of any article being damaged and requiring repair, the hirer will pay the full cost of such repair.
  • Keep the hired articles fully insured to their full replacement value against all risks. Hirers are reminded that the period of the insurance shall include at least two days prior to the opening of the event or exhibition for which they are hired and at least two days after its conclusion.
  • Goods are only hired on this condition.

ARTICLE 4.

It is the duty of the hirer to provide at such event or exhibition, a duly authorised representative to accept the products and to give a written receipt. If the hirer fails to provide for this, he will not be permitted to dispute subsequently the facts of the delivery and be deemed to have accepted the delivery and these conditions.

ARTICLE 5.

Hirers are reminded that all equipment should be emptied of personal belongings, at the conclusion of the event or exhibition as no responsibility can be accepted for their safe custody.

ARTICLE 6.

At the discretion of the Alphabet Stand Service, a charge of not less than 25% of the quoted hire charge may be made in respect of cancelled orders. If such cancellation is made after the goods have been delivered to the site, the Alphabet Stand Service reserves the right to invoice the full hire charge. The quoted prices are All Taxes Inclusive

 

ARTICLE 7.

Orders received and executed at an event or exhibition may be subject to an extra handling charge.

ARTICLE 8.

No liability shall attach to the Alphabet Stand Service for:
a) Any delay or failure to deliver due to circumstances which are outside its control.
b) Loss or damage howsoever caused to customer’s own goods.
c) Any dilapidation charges for fixing of floor coverings to exhibition hall floors. Hirers are reminded that laid only sale prices do not include taking up at the end of the event or exhibition and that venues make a charge for the removal of double-sided tape.
d) Any damage or injury caused by the misuse of the Alphabet Stand Service’s property.

ARTICLE 9.

The Alphabet Stand Service expressly reserves the right at its absolute discretion to suspend or cancel any services (whether in whole or in part) under its contract with the hirer in any case where the hirer is in breach of that contract or in breach of any credit arrangements, whether the same be under that contract or any other contract or arrangement between the hirer and the Alphabet Stand Service.

ARTICLE 10.

The Alphabet Stand Service reserves the right to make substitutes without prior warning for products that may be unavailable.

ARTICLE 11.

a) We do not exclude our liability in respect of death or personal injury to any party resulting from negligence of ourselves, our servants or agents (but not of our sub-contractors, if any).
b) We do not exclude our liability for loss of, or damage to, the exhibits or property of the customer where this has directly been caused by our negligence, providing that any claim in this respect is made in writing within 14 days of the problem having been brought to our notice.
c) Any claim from (b) shall be limited to the amount of any loss or diminution in value of the goods, and not in respect of any consequential costs incurred.

ARTICLE 12.

Complaints should be submitted in writing during the open period of the event or exhibition. This will ensure that they are fully investigated on site.

ARTICLE 13.

For exhibitions and events or private hire requirements, delivery and collection will be charged at the prevailing transport rates. With exhibitions that we are committed to attending on mainland Europe, Eire or Northern Ireland, our prices will be subject to a 20% surcharge to offset the additional costs involved.
